Medical achievements and scientific research

 

 

In his 53 years of medical experience, he has saved 170 000 patients. In 1980, he took the lead in developing biomaterial artificial bone research in China. In 1987, he successfully conducted the replantation of cold ischemia with a 54-hour amputation and 59-hour amputation on limb surgery. This surgery broke the world's then-record of the longest period of ischemia for the replantation of amputated limbs. In 1990, he had participated and completed in the operation of ten-finger severed replantation. This surgery became Asia's first successful case.

 

 

On June 1987 he won the second class achievement of the PLA General Research.

 

On July 1987 he won the second class achieved of the PLA Medical Conference.

 

In 1988, he won the third prize of Gansu Science and Technology Progress Award.

 

In 1989, he won the first prize of Gansu Science and Technology Progress Award.

 

In 1990, he won the third prize of Gansu Progressive Science and Technology Award.

 

On March 1990 he won the fourth prize of Science and Technology of Chinese PLA.

 

In 2000 the third prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Award by the Guangdong Provincial Government.
