Scoliosis Center of Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine

Scoliosis Center is divided into two divisions:

Scoliosis division 1 is for children. Patients must be younger than 20 years old.

Address: 5th floor of Scoliosis Center, Children's Surgical Building, No. 27, Xinhua Hospital.

Scoliosis division 2 is for adults. Patients must be 20 years old or older.

Address: 10th floor of Scoliosis Center, Surgical Building, No. 8, Xinhua Hospital.

Information regarding orientation

Please contact Doctor Deng (tel: +86-18613087670) and Doctor Liu (tel: +86-13817354143) in advance to confirm the date of admission.

Prior to arrival, contact Dr. Deng. Please arrive at the hospital according to the confirmed admission day. Go to Xinhua Hospital's 5th floor (Scoliosis Division 1) to collect the letter of confirmed admission. For further information please contact Dr. Deng.

Along with the confirmation letter, please go to the 1st floor, No. 3 building to finalize your hospital admission (On non-working days, please proceed to the emergency counter). In general, you will need to pay between 5,000 yuan ~ 20,000 yuan upfront as hospitalization deposit. Note: Before admission, please show the patient's medical insurance card or medical certificate if there is any medical insurance.

After finalizing your hospital admission, a designated nurse will come to greet you. The assigned nurse will be based on the needs of patients.

After admission, you need to go to the nurse station to confirm your ward and bed.

A chief doctor will come to help you in checkups and consultations. Please wait patiently.

Attention

Before admission, please prepare the patient's (1) ID card or household register, (2) medical insurance card or medical certificate, (3) related spinal x-rays, medical records, and etc. In addition, daily necessities for personal and family members can be properly prepared or purchased near the hospital.

You must only have one family member or legal guardian with you according to the hospital's guidelines. Other family members can visit during visiting hours.

About out-of-province medical insurance, please contact the local medical insurance office for inquires. If you are an out-of-province patient, please prepare (1)  out-of-province medical insurance record (assigned hospital: Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) (2) transfer certificate (transfer to Xin Hua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine)
