Information Times: X-in Miao Charity Conducts a Large-scale Free Medical Consultation, Impoverished Patients Can Apply for Surgical Assistance

"The 8th Anniversary of X-in Miao Charity & the 1st meeting on Employment Supply and Demand for scoliosis patients" were conducted in Guangzhou. A total of 100 scoliosis patients attended the event.

At the event, the charity provided interview opportunities for scoliosis patients with employment difficulties. More than 10 patients passed the interview successfully. In the past 8 years, the charity has sponsored surgical assistance to more than 280 scoliosis patients.

X-in Miao Charity had provided more than 25 million yuan of funding for scoliosis patients. Nearly 1 million middle school students in cities of Guangzhou has completed  school scoliosis screening . 370 000 participants showed a prevalence of scoliosis. The prevalence rate was around 5.4%. Fortunately, 99% of scoliosis is detectable because of the advanced diagnoses and treatments.
