What is scoliosis?

Scoliosis is when the spine of back forms a "s-shape". Scoliosis Research Society states that when the Cobb angle of the spine is over 10˚ while standing upright, scoliosis is present. Scoliosis is a disease that could cause deformity, affect heart/lung function, respiratory failure, and paralysis.
